Dr. Miguel Estavillo Paredes, a graduate of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, has a solid academic and professional background in high-specialty centers such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he completed his specialties in General Surgery and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He also trained as a specialist in bariatric surgery and the management of metabolic diseases at some of the world's most experienced and high-volume centers, such as Baja Hospital Tijuana, where he was trained to perform the full range of surgical and endoscopic procedures aimed at sustained weight loss as well as the management of metabolic diseases.
Always participating in the academic activities of the schools and societies to which their various specialties belong, publishing and conducting research work.

Am I candidate?
- If you have a BMI of 35 or higher.
- If you have a BMI of 30 or higher and also have a medical condition related to obesity, such as diabetes, sleep apnea, hypertension, heart disease, fatty liver, among others.
- If you understand that surgery is a tool, not a magic solution. It requires changes in diet, habits, and medical follow-up.
- All surgeries are performed with small incisions (minimally invasive surgery), the recovery time is fast, and the results are very good when combined with changes in diet and lifestyle.
- From the moment you begin your consultation until after the surgery, we will be with you at all times to answer any questions and provide recommendations to help you achieve successful results.

WHAT DO WE INCLUDE?
It is very important to understand that success in this process is based on preoperative evaluations by the multidisciplinary team, such as the Bariatric Surgeon and Endoscopist, Anesthesiologist, Psychologist, Nutritionist, Internist, and Cardiologist, in order to have an effective start and follow-up plan, as well as quality hospital materials and care, since experience with results has taught and shown us that without this it is not possible to achieve the desired goals.
Nutritional Assessment
To develop the meal plan for before and after, which will help achieve a reduction in liver size while ensuring optimal nutrition with appropriate consistencies and amounts of food.
Psychological Assessment
With the aim of ensuring that the patient is emotionally and mentally prepared, strengthening their internal resources to achieve sustainable change through the appropriate tools.
Laboratory tests, EKG, and evaluation by internal medicine and/or a cardiologist
Which will allow you to be in the proper physical condition for a safer procedure.
Hospital expenses
Which will allow for quality care, with the necessary medications, materials, equipment, and comfort required.
Fees
It will include the corresponding payment for all the multidisciplinary team involved in your surgery process.
